Project Description:
Since 1995, Wardrobe for Opportunity (WFO) has grown from providing interview clothing to low-income, female jobseekers to offering a complete suite of career development services to a demographically diverse group of low-income men and women. WFO is a unique local organization offering community programs that support the working poor, spanning from unemployment through long-term career development. Wardrobe for Opportunity works in partnership with the community to assist low-income individuals to ??Find a Job, Keep a Job and Build a Career.? You will be sorting clothing donations, styling clients in interviewing suits, and participating in a "mock" interview workshop. WFO's high-energy interview workshops are THE place to volunteer. Often described as "speed-dating, interview style", these events are short on time and long on impact giving employees the chance to work one-on-one to help our clients build their professional network, hone their interview skills, and realize their goals.
