Yorkville Common Pantry (YCP) is dedicated to reducing hunger while promoting dignity and self-sufficiency. YCP champions the cause of the hungry through food pantry and hot meal distribution programs, nutrition education, basic hygiene services, homeless support, and related services. We are reliant on our many wonderful volunteers who help with packing, organizing and distributing groceries in our pantry program, prepare and serve hot meals and so much more!

Project Description:
YCP provides hot and nutritious dinners for New Yorkers three days a week. The program, called Project Dignity, partners our meals with social services and areas to shower, do laundry and receive hair cuts. Volunteers during this shift will help prepare and serve dinners to our clients. We can serve up to 400 individuals in one night!

Special Skills or Tools Required:
Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
