Project Description:
Be a Clearwater Educator for a day! Help educate the next generation of environmental leaders. Recieve training from the staff and professional crew of the Clearwater to lead an education sail for the public school students of Brooklyn. Education stations will include: native american history, Hudson River education, raising the mainsail, ecology and science on the river, as well as historic music of the Hudson River.

Special Skills or Tools Required:
Must enjoy a fun, collaborative environment and work with kids and going sailing (you don't need to know how to sail-- we have a professional crew onboard)! This is about giving you a great volunteer experience and educating young kids about life in and o

Minimum Required Donation:
We need small pumpkins to gourds-- kids will need to transport them home! It would be great to have a pumpkin for each student. We will have more details on student numbers closer to the event date.
