Fred Finch Youth Center’s mission is to provide a continuum of high-quality programs for the care and treatment of children, youth, and families, whose changing needs can best be met by a variety of mental-health and social services. The goal is for clients to be professionally served in the least-restrictive environment appropriate to their needs, so that they may function at their highest potential. Flexible, community-based, and strength-based services form the core of all FFYC programs. Project Description:
The following improvements are needed at our Oakland campus. Please let us know if you are able to help us with any of them. (For those interested in volunteering, but feel they cannot complete all projects, that's fine, just let us know whch ones you can! We would appreciate any help!) - Painting the exterior of Fred Finch Youth Center's Avalon House, a residence for 14 youth. - As well, the interior of our school needs to be painted and the school building needs new flooring.

Special Skills or Tools Required:
The ability and experience to lay flooring would be very nice, but painting is more necessary. We can provide all the tools and project materials. It would be best to wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you wouldn't mind if they got paint on them.
